About Robert Logrippo

"I always felt the canvas was my own world where I could create anything."

A city kid, Robert was born in New York City in 1947 and received a city education there,

attending the High School of Music and Art and for his college years the School of Visual Arts. After college, Robert engaged in fantasy art of monsters and gargoyles, a more homespun subject matter just evolved from this fantasy art.  His art is noted for its vibrant colors, crisp images and efficient brushstrokes.

A professional Illustrator for many years in book and magazine publication, a  teacher at Parsons School of Design in NYC, as well as Art School Director at Spartanburg Art Museum in South Carolina. This has all added to this artist's extensive experience. Robert Logrippo's art has been exhibited successfully in NYC Galleries. Collectors around the world enjoy Robert's artwork.

Robert creates his paintings in his studio and welcomes your comments.

Commissioned work is always done in a unique and specific way.
